- Price
- Not published
- Set by the official call
- How it is allocated
- Lottery
- Homes are assigned by a random lottery among those who meet the requirements.
Can I apply?
What this call requires. Meeting it lets you take part; the home is allocated afterwards.
- Valid registration in the applicants' register
- Income below the ceiling: 6.5 times the IPREM
- Not own another home (with exceptions)
Maximum income by household size
- Any household size
- €54,600
Set by the call itself: 6.5 times the IPREM. The 2026 IPREM is €8,400 a year, over 14 payments. The income of your last filed tax return counts, not today's payslip.
The price is not published
The call does not say what it costs. What we do know is the legal cap: in Alacant/Alicante, a general-regime protected home cannot exceed €2,568.00 per usable square metre, so 70 m² would cost at most €179,760.
Cap per Decreto 180/2024 (DOGV 10003, DT 4ª) y Resolución de 13 de agosto de 2026 (DOGV 10429), apartado segundo. It is a maximum, not an estimate of the real price.

This call has closed. The steps stay here as a guide for the next one.
- 1Be registered in the applicants' register
- 2Submit the participation application by 12 September 2026
- 3Provisional lists of admitted applicants and an objections period
- 4Draw before a notary. The date is published on the register's website
- 5If selected: prove the requirements with documents within 10 working days and choose a home in draw order
- 6Sign the contract and collect the keys
- Being on the list is not having the home: the requirements must be proven again.
- Whoever is not allocated a home stays on the waiting list until the next similar call (two years at most).
- Turning a home down without a justified reason removes you from the register for five years.
And afterwards
- Can it be sold? Yes, at your region's maximum price and with its authorisation or visado. Selling a protected home →
- Rent it out? Only with authorisation or visado and with the rent capped. Renting out a protected home →
- Inherit it? It passes on with its protection: the heir does not have to qualify, but selling or renting stays controlled. Inheriting a protected home →
- What if I turn it down? Declining without cause can exclude you from the register: in Navarra, three years for a purchase and two for a rental. What happens if I turn the home down →
- A second-hand one? Before you make an offer, check the legal maximum price with the resale calculator. Resale calculator →
First time? How homes are allocated, explained in the guide →
