Offers with homes reserved for victims of gender-based violence
Offers with an open or upcoming window come first, then those closed in the last 18 months. Each row says how many of the development's homes are reserved, according to its call. Being in the quota is not getting the home: inside the quota there is still a draw or a points ranking.

What the law gives you
Across Spain
Women who are victims of gender-based violence are a priority group in access to protected housing and to public residences for older people, on the terms the applicable laws set.
Ley Orgánica 1/2004, art. 28 ↗The State Housing Plan 2026-2030 provides aid for an immediate housing solution: up to €1,000 a month and up to 100% of the rent, plus up to €300 a month for bills and upkeep, for up to five years, with household income up to 3 times the IPREM (4 or 5 times with a disability or a large family) (arts. 124 to 131).
Real Decreto 326/2026, Plan Estatal de Vivienda ↗
The State Plan's aid is claimed through each region's own call, and it does not apply in Euskadi or Navarra (art. 1.5).
By region
| Region | Rule |
|---|---|
| Navarra | Reserves 3% of every development for sale and 6% for rent. The Government of Navarra's department recognises the status; to buy, a final court ruling from the previous five years is also required.Ley Foral 10/2010, arts. 25 bis, 26 y 29 ↗ |
| Catalunya | When income is calculated in cases of gender-based violence, only the applicant's own income counts.Decret 75/2014, art. 4.1 ↗ |
In the other regions, each call sets how the priority works: a quota, more points or direct allocation. It is in the call's rules (bases).
Each rule read in its official text on 25 October 2026.
How to prove it
The law accepts several routes: a court ruling, a protection order or another court decision with an interim measure, a report from the public prosecutor, or a report from social services, specialised services or shelter services. Each call says which it accepts.

Questions people ask
Do victims of gender-based violence get priority for protected housing?
Yes. Ley Orgánica 1/2004 (art. 28) makes them a priority group in access to protected housing. Each region decides how: a quota, more points or direct allocation.
Which document proves you are a victim of gender-based violence?
The law accepts several routes (art. 23): a court ruling, a protection order or another court decision, a report from the public prosecutor, or a report from social, specialised or shelter services. The call says which it accepts.
Are any protected homes reserved for victims of gender-based violence?
In Navarra the law reserves 3% of every development for sale and 6% for rent. Elsewhere it depends on the call. This page lists the offers with a quota that we follow.
Is there aid to pay the rent?
The State Housing Plan 2026-2030 provides up to €1,000 a month, up to 100% of the rent, and €300 a month for bills, for up to five years. You apply through your region's call, except in Navarra and Euskadi, where the Plan does not apply.
Does my former partner's income count?
Not in Catalunya: in cases of gender-based violence only the applicant's own income counts (Decret 75/2014, art. 4.1). Elsewhere, check the call's rules.
